- I started flying when I was 17, and I have been flying commercially since 1991. In my 30's I became interested in nutrition, complementary medicine, and spirituality. I discovered Reiki, an ancient Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation, and became a Reiki master. I also began practicing Transformational Reiki, which incorporates the vibration of the shaman's drum and Native American energies into the healing process. This blog is my attempt to combine my two worlds - the analytical, precise, no room for error world of flying, and the creative, flowing, energetic beauty of spirituality. I invite you to research the things I write about for yourself, and draw your own conclusions. Some of the things I've experienced over the last few years I never would have believed if they hadn't happened directly to me. My scientific mind is definitely evolving, and I now accept things that I previously would have thought unusual, to say the least. I welcome you to join me on my journey.
